Pricing

Priced like a records service.
Because that’s what we are.

Flat fees, published in full, with no pricing tied to results. The value shows up in a transaction we’re not party to — your mortgage — not in our invoice.

What happens if you pay late

State the policy plainly: do you report only positive history, or negatives too? Either answer is defensible. Burying it is not.

What happens if you cancel

Does the reported history stay on the file after someone stops paying us? This is the most suspicious-feeling unknown in the category — answer it here, in one sentence.

What we never charge for

Nothing here is priced on results. There’s no premium tier, no success fee, and no charge that changes based on what happens to your score.

Two ways to buy, and one honest recommendation.

The unit that matters is accounts on your report, not services purchased. A single rent tradeline is sometimes enough. Usually it isn’t.

Placeholder figures. The prices below are drawn from the positioning discussion, not from your live price book. Replace every number, and have counsel review the guarantee wording before this ships.

Rent only

For people who need one tradeline and know it.

$50 one-time setup

then $8/month to keep it reporting

  • Your rent, reported to all three bureaus
  • Past payment history attached
  • Cancel any time
Report my rent

One account. Roughly what a rent-only service charges.

Partner & bulk

For loan officers, landlords, employers and credit unions.

What you’re actually comparing.

We’re more expensive than a rent-only service, and we should be. Here’s the difference, line by line, so you can decide whether it’s worth it to you. Verify each right-hand column against what competitors actually deliver — buy a competitor’s product and document what shows up.

  Rental Kharma Typical rent-reporting service
Accounts reported Rent plus up to four utility and telecom accounts Rent only
Bureaus All three Often one or two
Past history attached Yes — the years you’ve already paid Often starts from today
Effect on average account age Raises it — the accounts are years old Can lower it — a brand-new account with one payment
Time to appear About a week Confirm
If we don’t deliver Setup fee refunded Typically no remedy
Years furnishing to bureaus 13 Usually five or fewer

If a single rent tradeline is enough to get you where you need to go, buy theirs. It’s a good deal. It’s just usually not enough.

We guarantee the deliverable, never the outcome.

If we don’t get your accounts reported to all three bureaus within X days, we refund the setup fee. No conditions, no forms.

We will never guarantee a credit score. Nobody honest can — the score belongs to the bureaus and the model, not to us. What we can promise is the thing we control: verified accounts, on your file, where lenders look. Have counsel review this wording before publishing; guarantee language is the specific thing that draws regulatory attention in this category.

Why the price looks low.

People sometimes read a low price as a warning sign. Here’s the arithmetic behind it. Run these figures against current rate sheets and present them conditionally — they are illustrations, not quotes.

$180 once

What a complete file costs here, plus $8 a month to keep it current.

~$600/mo

Illustrative difference in payment between a weaker and a stronger credit profile on a $300,000 mortgage.

$99/mo × 6

What a typical credit repair engagement costs to dispute items we don’t touch and can’t remove.

We charge for a data service. The money shows up in your mortgage, not in our invoice. That’s the whole reason the number is small.
